Root intrusion is a common problem with drains that lie close to planted areas and trees. In most cases roots get into drains through damaged pipe joints, cracks, fractures and holes in the pipework. If the pipework has not been too badly damaged, Aquablast Drain Services can remove the problem roots from your drain by using a root cutting tool or high pressure jet, using a specialist tree root cutting jet head.

After all traces of the roots have been removed, it may be necessary to reline part or all of the affected drain to ensure that the roots do not return and damage the drainpipe again.
